Bob Dylan has announced details of his new compilation Tell Tale Signs, the latest chapter in his long-running Bootleg Series. The songwriter has also announced plans to give away a free downloadable version of the previously unreleased song Dreamin' of You.
Due for release on October 7, Tell Tale Signs will feature 27-songs over two discs, including unreleased material and new versions of songs from albums such as Modern Times and Oh Mercy.
The legendary singer launched the Bootleg Series in 1991 with a collection of previously unreleased songs and, as with every instalment thereafter, accompanied the box set with detailed photographs, artwork and intricate liner notes.
The latest will feature notes written by Larry "Ratso" Sloman, the New York author behind the Dylan biography On the Road With Bob. Further details on Dylan's new release can be found at the songwriter's freshly relaunched website, where you can sign up for your free download.
