La película de Lisandro Alonso, "Liverpool", se llevó el Premio Principado de Asturias a la mejor película en competencia del Festival de Gijón. "Una semana solos", de Celina Murga, se llevó el Premio FIPRESCI, otorgado por la crítica internacional.
