Robyn Hitchcock Concert Film Airs on Sundance Channel

Friday, June 5th will mark the broadcast debut of the Sundance Channel's Robyn Hitchcock: I Often Dream of Trains concert film. Filmed live in late 2008 in New York City during the tour celebrating Robyn's classic 1984 album of the same name, the film is directed and shot by acclaimed director John Edginton and crisply captures the free-associative spontaneity of a Hitchcock live performane.

Dressed in vintage Hitchcockian polka dots - and playing matching polka dot guitar - Robyn is joined by Terry Edwards (keyboards, horns, bass, and vocals), Tim "Captain" Keegan (guitar, vocals) as well as by musical compatriots from Jonathan Demme's critically acclaimed film Rachel Getting Married.

Yep Roc will release a DVD of Robyn Hitchcock: I Often Dream of Trains later this year.

Watch Robyn perform 'Up to Our Nex' culled from the same concert.
