Because, after all, putting out a record with your band, touring the hell out of the year, and remixing every damn song you hear isn't quite enough for some people, Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip-- yes, the one with those glasses-- has just snuck out a solo joint. It's called Rubbed Out, it was created in "places, planes, hotel rooms, and at home" by Taylor, it includes a cover of Paul McCartney's "Coming Up", and it's available this very moment from Treader.
